Innes Ritchie

Our next Ambassador will need no introduction. Innes was an inspirational leader who gave everything to bring about success in a Cowdenbeath shirt. When contacting Innes to offer an opportunity to link with the club again, he was delighted and keen to help. Innes still has fond memories of his time at Central Park and has attended some games this season with his son. A brilliant ambassador, our 2006 Captain!

Keith Wright tried for some time to get Innes Ritchie to Central Park as he felt Innes was the type of character the team needed. Eventually, Innes did make the move and he became a highly respected figure at Central Park. As team captain, his leadership qualities were clearly evident. He was a hero to the Central Park support and his career culminated in receiving the 3rd Division trophy in 2006 after it was helicoptered into Central Park.
