To become a member, simply pledge your monthly sum to the Cowdenbeath Independent Supporters Society below.

To enable monthly payments to be taken, a direct debit mandate must be set up. This will be processed by GoCardless.

Group Membership

Group Membership enables like-minded football fans, supporters and business organisations to unite under the CISS and become co-owners of Cowdenbeath Football Club.

  • Supporters may become members of the CISS by way of a group membership (“Group”) which should be appropriately named.

  • Such Groups are not limited in size to any particular number of supporters but must not be less than two in number.

  • Each individual supporter in a Group will pay a minimum of £5 per calendar month to the Group or make a single payment of £60 per annum to the Group. All monies paid to the Group must be paid to the CISS either as an ongoing monthly sum or as a lump sum paid annually on the date on which the Group joined the CISS as a member.

  • Each named Group, on joining the CISS, will receive one share in the CISS and will receive one vote at the AGM.

  • Membership benefits, as decided on by the Board of the CISS, will be available to all supporters in any Group.

  • A Member of a Group is eligible to be nominated for appointment to the Board of Directors of the CISS or co-opted on to the Board by the existing Directors of the CISS. Only one such Director can be appointed from any one Group. Any such appointment is at the discretion of the existing Board of Directors of the CISS and such appointment must not contravene the maximum number of Directors allowable as laid out in the Society rules.
